Derek lives in Fishers, Indiana and has an undergraduate degree from Anderson University, a Christian liberal arts university and is finishing his Masters Degree in Theological Studies. As a Certified Public Accountant he worked for the international consulting firm Deloitte for a number of years before starting his own construction management company 18 years ago. Wilder is currently the CEO of Hallmark Homes, Inc. and the Executive Director of Lives Transforming, Inc. He is also the author of two books: Minds on Fire: What is Wrong with our Thoughts and How to Fix It and Freedom: How Grace Transforms Your Life Now. Finally, he is the founder of Convergence Therapy, which integrates cognitive therapy and grace-based theology into the accredited college course: Thought Life and Spiritual Growth.
